As a kid I used to wile away hours popping bubbles, but now that I'm older I don't get much of a chance. Not, that is, until I discovered Bubble Buster, which gives you all the fun of bursting bubbles without getting you wet.
Bubble Buster is one of those great games that you can just pick up and play - you don't need any special skills or talents, it doesn't take ages to set up and the controls are very simple. Just tap the bubbles as they float down the screen to score points.
You should also look out for the bonus items in Bubble Buster, such as clocks that freeze time, or love hearts that reset the time. Beware though, because clicking some of these other items will do you more harm than good.
The overall presentation of Bubble Buster is very nice. The graphics and sound effects are sweet and chirpy, although the pulsating dance music intro to the game seemed like an odd choice to me.
The only problem with Bubble Buster comes in the form of its gameplay, which can get a bit too repetitive after a while, as essentially all of the ten levels are the same. However, there are a few options you can tweak to make Bubble Buster more interesting, such as switching off the timer reset at the start of each level.
On the whole, Bubble Buster makes for a fun pick-up-and-play time-waster.
